NFL Power Rankings-Week 4

Here are the week 4 power rankings for the NFL.

1. New England Patriots
Why?-The Patriots are scary. Very scary. The Patriots were always good, but now with the implementation of Randy Moss they are unstoppable. I hate to say 16-0, but it's very possible with this team.

2. Indianopolis Colts
Why?-Until they lose a game, the Colts will remain in the top 2 for the Power Rankings. Although they had close calls with the Titans and the Texans, Peyton Manning and his maturity and skill helped guide his team to victories in both games. These Super Bowl Champs are picking up right where they left off.

3. Dallas Cowboys
Why?-The kings of the NFC. Tony Romo was no fluke last year and he's definitely making that a point this year. He is establishing himself as a top 5, possibly a top 3, quarterback.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers
Why?-Some people might view their 3-0 records as just luck that will run out, but it sure as hell doesn't look like it by the way they are playing. Don't forget they have a new coach and they absolutely destoryed a decent team (49ers).

5 Tennesse Titans
Why?-I had this team pegged to win the Super Bowl this year until the entire team either ended up injured or in jail. Vince Young seems to be able to handle the pressure of having nobody on his team and could be a big upset this season.

6. Baltimore Ravens
Why?-They might not be playing up until their level, but thats just it, they are a better team than they have been showing. I'm quite confident that the rest of the season will look extremely positive for this team.

7. Green Bay Packers
Why?-I really don't think the amazing start to their season will last that long, but hey with Brett Favre you never know. They will be a mediocre Minnesota next week, but don't expect them to go above 9-7 this season.

8. Jacksonville Jaguars
Why?-This team is going to fluctuate in the Power Rankings more than any other team. They can be a 13-3 team or a 4-12 team and it wouldn't surprise me either way. As of now they're looking really good. We'll see if it stays that way.

9. Seattle Seahawks
Why?-A win over the Bengals made this team earn this spot. Seahawks will win the division, which is expected.

10. Denver Broncos
Why?-Their offense lookins surprisingly good, although with a tough AFC schedule its hard to see this team going beyond number 10 in the rankings.

11. Houston Texans
Why?-Who would have thought this team would be ranked this high at all this season, but hey they are 2-1 with a loss to the Colts that was surprisingly close. Matt Schaub looks awesome right now and is totally rejuvinating this team.

12. Carolina Panthers
Why?-Don't expect this team to stray outside of this ranking too much this season. They are an above average team and thats pretty much the extent of it.

13. San Diego Chargers
Why?-Obviously the implementation of Norv Turner was one of the biggest mistakes in recent memory. That being said, I can't give up on this team yet. They still have LT and Philip Rivers. They have to be good..right????

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Why?-They could very well be a sleeper team this year, although part of me doesn't think that will happen.

15. Chicago Bears
Why?-The defense is above average as always, but Rex looks as bad as ever. If they got a mediocre quarterback, the Bears would easily be in the top 10, probably even the top 5, but they have Rex.

16. Philadelphia Eagles
Why?-After two bad weeks, the Eagles look like they are back in top form. Given his track record, I can't see McNabb goign back to the way he was in the first two weeks. This team will clear .500 easily.

17. San Francisco 49ers
Why?-They might be 2-1, but they are lucky to have that record. They are having issues on offense. Alex Smith is anything, but great and you can't expect Frank Gore to carry the entire team. Until the offense does something this team will be in the bottom 15.

18. Cincinnati Bengals
Why?-The loss to the Browns is the reason they are this low. Its the Browns!!! That being said, I expect the Bengals to bounce back under the leadereship of Carson Palmer.

19. Washington Redskins
Why?-The loss to the Giants knocked them down a few pegs. Don't expect this team to really recover much from it.

20. New York Giants
Why?-I honestly expect this team to continue to rise. Eli is having his best season so far and Ward is doing much more than expected of him. That being said, where the hell is the defense????

21. New York Jets
Why?-I'd rank them lower, but they are playing the lowly Bills next week which is almost a guarantee win.

22. Detroit Lions
Why?-Better than last year, but not as good as expected. After a 2-0 start they were placed back in reality when they faced an actual team, The Eagles.

23. Arizona Cardinals
Why?-Another team that could be a sleeper. Even though they are 1-2, keep an eye on this team.

24. Minnesota Vikings
Why?-Does this team even have an offense???

25. New Orleans Saints
Why?-I had this team going to the Super Bowl this year. THE SUPER BOWL! They are 0-3 right now and look absolutley horrible. I expect them to bounce back, but I'm waiting very patiently.

26. Kansas City Chiefs
Why?-They are starting to show some signs of life, but they still have a ways to go. They need LJ to start doing something though.

27. Cleveland Browns
Why?-This team is doing much better right now than I expected, but don't expect them to be a contender at all this year.

28. Oakland Raiders
Why?-While a much improved team, they are still pretty crappy.

29. Miami Dolphis
Why?-Why do people think this team is going to make the playoffs every year?? There is nothing good about this team.

30. St. Louis Rams
Why?-Another team pegged to be good, but showing no signs of it. Stephen Jackson is showing some signs of life so expect this team to move up in the rankings.

31. Buffalo Bills
Why?-JP Losman was supposed to have a breakout season this year. I guess we'll have to wait until next year.

32. Atlanta Falcons
Why?-I've heard from many people that without Michael Vick this team we'll be pretty much the same. I'm still waiting.
